In the gCube system, roles are defined and then assigned to users. Roles are defined at the root VO of the system and are visible in all VOs and VREs. Roles can be edited using the Roles Management Portlet.
Using this portlet it is able to:
- See all the available roles. Roles' list can be sorted by name.
- Delete any of the available roles
- This action can be done by checking one or more roles and click on the 'delete' button
- Create a new role
- This action can be done by providing a name in the text box and click on the 'create' button
