This section groups the components which implement Data Transfer in gCube. The aim of this part of the wiki is to give a brief overview of the components ( which are better described under the gCube features section at Data Transfer Scheduler & Agent components) and focus mainly on the aspect of integration with respect to the other gCube components or external clients.
The following components have been implemented or are under implementation:
- The Data Transfer Agent Service
- The Data Transfer Agent Library
- The Data Transfer Common Library
- The Data Transfer Scheduler Service
- The Data Transfer Scheduler Library
- The Data Transfer Portlet
- The Data Transfer Common Messaging Interface
- The Storage Manager Portlet
The activities performed in the context of Data Transfer by CERN till June 2013, have been summarized in this report
The components implemented are based on the GRS2 component which is described under the Information Retrieval section.
